This new facility is the single chiller plant servicing virtually all of the Nathan campus. The project required that the chilled water supply to the campus be maintained during the changeover from the existing chilled water station (which was demolished) and the new N80 chilled water station.

Facilities incorporate –

• 4 new water-cooled chillers

• 4 new cooling towers

• Pumps

• Water treatment

• New Mechanical Services Switchboards (MSSB)

• Extensive inground chilled water reticulation pipework

• Significant achievement towards GU Carbon Management Goals
